
LeoVegas and 888 are just a few of the operators that recently gained access to operate within the Ontario iGaming market , starting this April.

On March 14th, the The Alcohol & Gaming Commission of Ontario unveiled an updated roster of operators that have been awarded licenses and are set to launch their online casinos in the province starting April 4th .

This roster features several prominent players that are already established in the best online casinos in the United States, including Unibet , BetRivers , WSOP and FanDuel .
Major U.S. operators like BetMGM and Golden Nugget have not yet received their licenses but are anticipated to eventually enter the Ontario market.
Although the iGaming sector in Ontario is scheduled to go live on April 4th, this date has previously faced delays due to challenges from other boards regarding the Ontario government's decision to oversee online gambling.
According to the new regulations , any operator seeking a license in Ontario will be required to cease all offshore activities in the province.
The provider Play’n Go has also successfully completed the licensing process to participate in Ontario's iGaming sector.
Software providers has also been navigating the application process in order to provide their offerings in Ontario, with Play’n Go recently becoming one of the latest providers to gain their license.
In an official statement, Sissel Weitzhandler , the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer at Play’n GO, mentioned,
